“It was a total dream to work with Jonny and I would 100% recommend him.  From the moment we first met him, he really went the extra mile to capture our day our way. He came to meet us at the venue, and then did multiple reckie tours back to capture the mood and the House before the big day. He even styled some shots of the stationery too so before we had even met on the morning of the wedding, we knew we were going to have some special images to savour forever.

We spent a good three hours chatting over coffee the week before the wedding when we discussed the look we wanted to achieve and why we had picked the venue, as well as all the details we had organised. We hadn’t intended to stay so long – we were just having so much fun chatting away! Jonny then went out of his way on the day to ensure he captured the details we had discussed and that we had all the formal shots we wanted. Spending this time together also had the added benefit of putting the groom at ease (who is a bit camera shy).

There are so many things I loved about working with Jonny: his professionalism, his sense of fun, and his creativity. A lot of people have commented to us that our wedding looked like it came straight out of Vogue or Brides magazine, but really that was just the way Jonny immortalised it.  Some of the best shots were taken with me perched on the edge of a high balcony and with the train of my skirt flowing beneath.  My Mum was terrified by the scene but the result was totally stunning and like nothing anyone else could have even imagined!

He also made me feel like a total princess, yet relaxed and at ease throughout the day and also like I should feel confident in front of the camera, as if it is the most natural thing in the world!

All of our family and friends have commented on how beautiful the pictures are. My Mum especially liked working with Jonny as he indulged her sense of humour. Even the ushers commented what a total gentleman he was. He seemed to charm all of our guests!

Jonny also agreed to come back the next day to capture our post-wedding brunch at Soho Farmhouse. I am so glad he did! I love the photos from this event as everyone was so relaxed – they are a really lovely contrast from the slightly more formal shots of the day before.   

Our memories of the day are likely to fade but we will keep the images forever and I completely adore them.”

We love Jonny West. 

We got married at Daylesford in Gloucestershire.  Jonny’s photographs really captured the spirit of the day and most importantly made my wife and I look great. 

He had a lovely energy to add to our wedding and made us feel very comfortable. It was great to have somebody one our side to make our day as easy as possible and get a lot of great images for us to remember it by.

It was an absolute pleasure having him at our wedding.  It really added to our day.

I have known Jonny since 2015 and first had the opportunity to work with him for the wedding of Bibi van der Velden & Thomas de Haas at Cornwell Manor that summer.

This was the most fabulous occasion and Jonny photographed every aspect of the 3 days so well – he is able to capture every detail & emotion so expertly whilst remaining inconspicuous & discreet.
